Virtual Assistant for a US Based Real Estate Brokerage

This is a telecommuting job as a virtual assistant for a US based real estate brokerage. Needless to say, it offers tremendous growth potential.

The person occupying this position is responsible for the smooth operation of a virtual real estate office, and requires a reliable internet connection, as well as an up-to-date computer system.

The candidate can be located anywhere, as long as the internet connection is reliable. Adequate training and all the technical and theoretical support will be provided during a paid probationary period.

1. Duties

  • Answers emails in Gmail;
  • Answers text messages in Google Voice;
  • Answers phone calls in Google Voice;
  • Registers data (clients and properties) within a proprietary database named Multiple Listing System or MLS;
  • Creates showing tours for real estate agents (needs to understand how to use Google Maps and be able to coordinate appointments with landlords and other real estate agents and clients, involves multitasking);
  • Most importantly, helps with our new agents recruiting efforts by making calls to pre-qualified individuals that might be interested to work with us.

2. Requirements:

  • Fluent English is a must; Oxford accent is a plus; (fluent) Spanish is a plus;
  • Customer service experience; call center and / or cold-calling experience is a plus;
  • A computer with at least 2 Gb of RAM, better 4 Gb, Windows 10 is a plus;
  • A reliable microphone;
  • A fast and stable cable internet connection (wireless connection would NOT be accepted since it cannot hold a stable phone connection);
  • Willingness to use TeamViewer for training;
  • Willingness to use TimeDoctor for supervision;
  • Willingness to use DropBox as a shared virtual office;
  • Ability to work undisturbed, from home, during 8 am EST and 8 pm EST (late evening hours for candidates from eastern Europe – 15:00 to 24:00 – or evening/night time for candidates from SE Asia – 21:00 to 7:00).

3. Work Schedule:

  • 4 to 6 hours per day, 5 to 6 days per week, ideally starting at 15:00 Eastern European time or  21:00 Manila time.

4. Payment:

The payment will be made weekly, exclusively based on TimeDoctor reports, every Sunday or Monday morning, through PayPal:

  • First 2 training/trial weeks – $1/hour (if you apply yourself, then you’ll need less training);
  • First 1 month after that – $3/hour;
  • Following two months – $4/hour;
  • Starting with the sixth month and furthermore – $5/hour;
  • Starting with the sixth month of uninterrupted work (at least 30 hours/week), the contractor will accrue retroactively paid vacation time representing 2 hours per week of work (maximum 60 vacation hours per year or two weeks);
  • Starting with the sixth month of uninterrupted work (at least 40 hours/week), the contractor will earn an extra payment payable the week before Easter, and another extra payment payable the week before Christmas. These extra payments will each be worth approximately two weeks of your work, and will be calculated as the average of the weekly payments for the last 6 months before Easter or Christmas.

Please keep in mind that you can choose your own working hours, you do not have to leave home, spend money on commute and wearing fancy work clothes, or report to several people at the same time.
